We have just created a 5 episode series based on a plane, going from comedy to musical.
i have learned that time is key and organization is the most important thing to insure a good production as you need to know what everyone is doing and how and when there doing it! i was involved in editing, acting and writing, i learned that its hard work and you need control over your whole team, this is vital to get a good vibe within the production and to make sure you get all the right shots. this is the first episode were i was the editor, i felt i did a pretty good job would have loved to have spent more time on the edit as i was against the clock also felt there were better shots which we could have made the clip more intense. I also created the music using logic pro.
Episode 1 Consequences
i have learned from this episode especially that with the right actors and time we have the ability as a group to create a tense atmosphere and make a near professional production.
Episode 2 Plane Strangers
In this episode i helped with cameras and also acted, this one was well organized as
the people acting learn't there words before we started filming also we had all the props (nuts, bottle of water) bought and ready for when we started filming.
Episode 3 Crew
In this episode i was the The actor Joe and helped out apart from that i wasn't included in the production.
Episode 4: Empty
again in this one i helped out with the acting and the some of the camera work.
Episode 5: 5
In this one i was the co writer with Duncan we didn't have much time to write so we tried to keep it simple as we could and just include classic puns through out with a strict sense of comedy. i have learn't you need time to write a decent script and make sure have the right actors to do the job.
