MAPA Christmas Lights

I was asked by Darren on behalf of MAPA to edit the Christmas lights video including live performance's and interviews with the artists. i have included my own music and other effects on certain clips to keep the audience entertained. This will be used in a screening to all the MAPA team and students. It took a far amount of time as the raw footage i was given was around twenty two minutes long and i had to condense this to under ten minutes, this made me come in on days off which i enjoyed as i put my own style to it, also felt like a professional task.

They wanted a YouTube type video for a showing to all the students and everyone who was involved in the Christmas lights performances which was a lot of people so i had to screen shot pictures of the footage and send to the music department to find out the names of the students and team involved. Also they wanted a mix between live performances and interviews to mix it up and make sure everyone was featured. It took a little longer than expected to complete as max the head of MAPA kept throwing ideas around for me to include which was a good thing as this kept me on my toes and made sure i had the film up to his expectations.

I have got good feed back from the video, this was a great feeling as i had put in some of my own comedy effects which would either float or sink.
